Rosario Pedicini was born in 1968, in Napoli, Italy.
He graduated in Italy Economics and Management with a thesis in Financial Statement analysis and efficiency parameters in the evaluation of credit worthiness.
He has been working for Istituto Bancario Sanpaolo (now Intesa Sanpaolo) group since 1988, initially in Italy as bank officer, then as internal auditor.
In 1988 he started his career abroad, first as Internal Auditor for Foreign Branches, then as Head of derivatives in London (1999-2000), Deputy General Manager and Head of Corporate in Frankfurt, Germany (2000-2006), General Manager in Amsterdam, Netherlands (2006-2012), General Manager in Shanghai, China (2012-2019) and then as General Manager in Tokyo, Japan, being his current position.
During his assignment in Shanghai China he was a Lecturer at the Master Course in International Management, a course held in Fudan University of China in cooperation with Bocconi and Luiss universities of Italy, with lectures focused on banking activities and financial analysis. He also held numerous speeches on request of Italian Chamber of Commerce in China and the Italian Consulate in Shanghai about doing business in China.
He is currently also Board member and Treasurer of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
He is an happy husband and father of two sons, an enthusiast sailing master and a saxophone player.
