The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of nationwide and international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, youth, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 209 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5,000 people working in Russia and abroad.

The Foundation works alongside various UN departments and other international organizations, and is building multi-format cooperation with 212 economic partners, including industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions, financial, trade, and business associations from 86 countries worldwide, and 293 Russian public organizations, federal and regional executive and legislative bodies of the Russian Federation.

Was born in 1974 in Kaluga. Education. 1997 г. — Bauman Moscow State Technological University (Kaluga branch), system engineer. 2008 г. — The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Master of Business Administration (MBA). Work experience. In 1992 started his career as a system programmer at commercial communal bank of Kaluga. In 1998 was invited to Public Administration, started as a senior specialist, then was promoted to Head of macroeconomic forecast and productive power placement division of Economy and Production Department of Kaluga region. In 2002-2003 participated in creation and launching of «Kaluga Mortgage Corporation» at the post of deputy General Director. From 2004 till 2008 was occupied as deputy Minister — head of investment department at Ministry of Economic Development of Kaluga region. In 2008 took up an appointment as Minister of Economic Development of Kaluga region. In 2009-2010 was occupied as Deputy Head of Administration of Obninsk for Economic Development. Since February 2010 till September 2013 was Deputy Governor of Kaluga region. Since September 2013 till May 2016 was Deputy Minister for Development of Far East of Russian Federation. At present Mr. Shereykin is CEO in Agency of technological development established by Government of Russian Federation. Awards. Holds the Distinguished Service Medal for Kaluga state of 2nd and 3rd degree.
