The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of nationwide and international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, youth, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 209 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5,000 people working in Russia and abroad.

The Foundation works alongside various UN departments and other international organizations, and is building multi-format cooperation with 212 economic partners, including industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions, financial, trade, and business associations from 86 countries worldwide, and 293 Russian public organizations, federal and regional executive and legislative bodies of the Russian Federation.

Biography
Dr Titus Mathe is a South African who is passionate about the development of Africa. He has an in-depth understand ing of the various energy sources and technologies, their utilization, and benefits. Titus has more than 25 years of industrial and academic work experience, of which 8 years has been spent at General Manager Executive level, in various portfolios. He is currently a Chief Executive Officer at the South African National Energy Development Institute (SANEDI). Titus is busy with repositioning of SANEDI to play a crucial role in energy security.



Dr Mathe has several academic qualifications, most notably is a PHD in Chemical Engineering from UCT obtained in 2001, Master’s degree in Business Leadership (MBL) from UNISA obtained in 2007, BSc in Chemical Engineeringobtained from Howard University, USA,in 1995.Dr Mathe is registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineer, a Member of the South African Institute of Chemical Engineers (SAICHE), AMember of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM), a Fellow member of the South African Academy of Engineering (SAAE), a Council member of SAICHE, a member of various Academic Institutions Advisory Boards. He is also a former member of the Engineering Council of South Africa, and a former Council for Built Environment (CBE) Council member.
