The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of nationwide and international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, youth, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 209 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5,000 people working in Russia and abroad.

The Foundation works alongside various UN departments and other international organizations, and is building multi-format cooperation with 212 economic partners, including industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions, financial, trade, and business associations from 86 countries worldwide, and 293 Russian public organizations, federal and regional executive and legislative bodies of the Russian Federation.

AWWR Winemakers Summit

The Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia will hold its next Summit during the Third Russian Winemaking Forum, where the Association and its governing bodies will provide an account of everything they have achieved in 2023–2024 and set goals for the future. Chairman of the AWWR Board Dmitry Kiselev will deliver the traditional programme report on the AWWR’s performance and new priorities. AWWR members will discuss the use of new digital tools for interaction between the Association and regulators on the AWWR Portal. The heads of the AWWR Disciplinary and Control Committees will report back on their work. The organizers of countrywide wine fairs under the auspices of the AWWR, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia – the National Association for the Marketing of Russian Wine (NAM Vina) and City Holidays – will report on events held this year to promote Russian wine and announce their plans for 2025. Chairman of the AWWR Standardization Committee Anatoly Korneev will talk about developing and approving Additional Quality Standards, and Co-Chairman of the Central Tasting Committee Artur Sarkisyan will announce the results of the 2024 AWWR Cup as they pertain to the overall quality of wines presented. The Summit will wrap up with a question-and-answer session for AWWR members.
