9 June 2023, Moscow. Security Code helps participants of the International Cyber Security Championship to repel cyber attacks and investigate incidents during the competition. The finals of the online competition will be held as part of the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum at the National Cyber Range by RTC Solar, supported by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and the Roscongress Foundation.
Forty cyber security teams from several dozen countries across several continents participated in the qualifications of the competition.
Security Code, a Russian company that became a Technology Partner of the International Cyber Championship, provided one of its key products for the competition — the Continent 4 network security suite. The network security solution allows teams to practice cyber attacks that are stipulated in the event scenario.
«The scenarios developed by the organizers of the International Cyber Championship actually reflect the real cyber threat landscape faced by thousands of businesses around the world every day. In this regard, the international experience of interaction among participants is invaluable,» noted Alexey Golov, CEO of Security Code.
«Over the past 18 months, we have made a giant leap in countering threats, including those aimed at critical infrastructure facilities, and gained unique experience in a short period of time. At the Cyber Championship, we want to share our knowledge and skills with partner countries, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, demonstrate the highest level of Russian information security technologies to the foreign community. We are grateful to our partner, Security Code, for supporting the initiative to develop the international IS community. It is only possible to contain the ever-growing onslaught by joining the efforts of experts from all over the world,» shared Igor Lyapunov, CEO of RTC Solar.
This is the second international cyber competition on the platform of the National Cyber Range held as part of SPIEF. The first event took place in 2022.
