Caucasus Investment Forum Scheduled in Grozny

It was decided to postpone the Caucasus Investment Forum following a meeting of the Organizing Committee in 2024. CIF 2024 will now be held in the Chechen capital of Grozny.

“The decision to shift the Caucasus Investment Forum stems from the existing schedule of national business and exhibition events. We are expecting to welcome delegations and representatives of the business community from abroad. Preparations for the event continue,” Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak said. “The event will be held as a forum for the first time with an expanded business programme consisting of sessions, round tables, and master classes,” he added.

The Caucasus Investment Forum will serve as a platform for negotiations and a place to conclude business contracts for investment projects and public-private partnerships in Russia’s regions. The Forum theme is ‘The Greater Caucasus: From Sea to Sea’, and it will be dedicated to ‘Regional Development and Interregional Cooperation’.

“The Chechen Republic is one of Russia’s most attractive constituent entities and a leader of Russia’s National Investment Rating. By holding CIF 2024 here, we make it possible for Forum participants and guests to benefit from everything the Republic has to offer, witness the diversity of the North Caucasus, and learn more about its rich culture. The North Caucasus Federal District plays an important international role with its transport logistics corridors, developing agricultural exports, growing inbound tourism, and an increasing number of hotel complexes and high-level recreational facilities. The Caucasus Investment Forum in Grozny and its international status will give investment projects developing in the region a platform to be seen and attract foreign investors,” Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the CIF 2024 Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.

CIF 2024 will be attended by representatives of the tourist industry, agribusiness, transport and logistics, the banking sector, and construction companies from across the North Caucasus, Southern Federal District, CIS, and the Caspian and Black Sea basins.

More than three thousand people from 15 countries visited the First Caucasus Investment Exhibition in Mineralnye Vody in May 2023. The business programme consisted of more than 30 events, with 50 agreements worth over RUB 150 billion concluded at the event.

The Caucasus Investment Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
