The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of nationwide and international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, youth, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 209 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5,000 people working in Russia and abroad.

The Foundation works alongside various UN departments and other international organizations, and is building multi-format cooperation with 212 economic partners, including industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions, financial, trade, and business associations from 86 countries worldwide, and 293 Russian public organizations, federal and regional executive and legislative bodies of the Russian Federation.

Yulia has been involved in the project of the Russian Arbitration Center (RAC) at the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration (RIMA) since its appearance in 2016. She has been the head of both since 2019 and in this position, Yulia actively develops and popularizes arbitration in Russia and abroad. Previously, Yulia acted as a legal adviser to the RAC and participated in arbitration proceedings administered by RAC as an assistant to the arbitration panels.

Before joining RAC, Yulia worked in one of the leading Russian law firms and acted as a representative in courts and arbitration.

Since 2023 Yulia has headed The International and Comparative Law Research Center (ICLRC).

Areas of professional interests:

private international law;

international commercial arbitration;

international investment arbitration;

comparative law.

Yulia holds membership of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and is a part of Advisory Committee of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA).

She is fluent in Russian and English and basic in German.

Yulia graduated from Law school of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2015 and in 2019 took her Jur.M. at the Department of Civil Law of the University. In 2019, Yulia was a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (Hamburg, Germany).

In 2020 Yulia completed her post-graduate studies at the Department of Civil Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
