Andrei Zyuzin was born in St. Petersburg. In 1989, graduated from the Higher Naval School of Radioelectronics with honours. In 2004, received his MBA from Fuqua Business School at Duke University (USA).
He worked as the Deputy General Director for Cisco Systems – Russia, where he was responsible for business development and sales of modern digital communication systems for Russia and the CIS markets, and subsequently, for the establishment of a company development centre at the Skolkovo Innovation Center.
Since 2007, he has been involved in venture investment; he participated in the formation and investment of venture capital funds with the VTB Group and VEB Group (VEB Innovations Fund).
Since 2018, he has been the Chairman of the Board of Biruch-NT – EFKO Research Center, and the Deputy Director General of Innovation and Digitization.
Presently, he is a member of the regional Advisory Board at the Fuqua Business School at Duke University and a member of the Board of Directors of a number of companies. Andrei Zyuzin was actively involved in the establishment of the non-profit partnership of the Club of Directors for Research and Innovation (iR&Dclub), where for long time he held the position of Chairman of the Board. At the Gaidar Forum in 2019, he moderated the discussion entitled ‘State and business on the path of digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex’ featuring Alexei Gordeev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as Governors of Kaluga, Tambov, and Oryol regions. Authored several publications.
