Nathalie Yamb has twenty years of experience as a communication specialist and human resources expert in Europe and Africa. From 1999 to 2014, she held a variety of senior executive positions at both FT 500 and start up organizations in domestic and global markets, primarily in Africa.
A graduate in journalism and political sciences, she started her career in 1992 in the television industry in Germany, before moving to Cameroon to take up leadership roles in the advertising industry. Her HR career starts in 2005 when she joins AP Moeller Maersk, first in Cameroon and later in Nigeria. She joined MTN Group in 2007 as HR executive in Côte d’Ivoire for 2 years, before heading the Talent & Learning function for the West and Central Africa region (Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Liberia and Nigeria) for the following 5 years.
Fluent in several languages and widely credited for her ability to identify and motivate talent to challenge existing assumptions and create new pathways for success, she has set up her own company since 2015, offering executive coaching, organizational leadership and intermediation services to companies and associations active on the continent, particularly in West and Central Africa.
Member of the LIDER Party leadership since 2011, Nathalie has written numerous articles on African independence, renaissance and transformation, advocating for a vibrant private sector, parliamentarian regime, an exit from the cfa franc and the handover of land property rights to the rural populations for the prosperity of African people and an improved development of so called Francophone African countries. She is also an expert in migrations and has co-authored the Prospective Migration Policy – Scenario Building on Relations between West Africa and Europe.
