The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 131 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 70 countries worldwide.

Biography
Born on November 30, 1970. Vladimir Yablonsky is an alumni of Moscow Railway Engineering Institute with a major in Systems Engineering. He is a PhD in Economics. In 2016 Mr. Yablonsky was appointed Director for Social Programs at the Internet Development Institute. He is also the Chairman of the Management Board at the Social Development Association.

Between 2011 and 2015 Vladimir Yablonsky was the Head of Social Projects Department at the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. One of his main achievements in this position was the access increase to social services for the private sector based on the subsidy-to-investment principle. His guidance helped develop and implement a number of model programs, including the model of resource centers for social business development that was introduced in 23 regions of Russia.

He started the mechanism for roadmap development and implementation for administrative barriers removal in social business. Vladimir Yablonsky proposed the Law on Social Entrepreneurship in Russia. In 1993 Mr. Yablonsky created the Information and Analytics Center for the Moscow City Department of Education and supervised it until 2011. The main achievement of the Center was creating a unique system of vocational guidance for children.

Vladimir Yablonsky is a receiver of the President’s award for developing and implementing an integrated concept for informational and educational development of the region.
