The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 131 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 70 countries worldwide.

Biography
Vedyokhin Igor Anatolievich joined IBS in 2001. He is well experienced in management of global projects for digital transformation, creation of up-to-date IT infrastructure for financial institutions and information security. In 2013, Igor Anatolievich was promoted to Deputy General Director and headed the IT-infrastructure division that consolidated the company’s best practices in the domain of solutions enabling the IT environment functioning and development.

Igor Anatolievich has been working for IBS for 17 years now. From 2001 to 2010, he directed a number of large projects for integration of IT solutions for the company’s key customers. Later he headed the departments of corporate management systems and management consulting. He has been occupying the position of IBS Deputy General Director since 2013.

In 1998, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics in the Moscow State University of Civil Construction (MISI) as an Engineer-Economist (Project Management Department).

He is a certified SAP application consultant (Application Consultant with mySAP.com) with core competencies in Project Management (PM), Material Management and Logistics (MM, LO).

Mr. Vedyokhin completed a number of training courses in the Russia SAP Training Center on Material Management (MM), Sales and Distribution Management (SD), Controlling (CO), Financial Management (FI) and a course of “Concepts and Principles of Project Management” in the IBM training center in Russia.
