Vasily Brovko was born on February 6, 1987. In 2009 he graduated from the Political PR and Public Relations Department of the Philosophy Faculty of Moscow State University. He created his first online media project in 2004 – a youth internet journal Sreda.org, and two years later he was named the producer of the political and entertainment division of O2TV, where he developed more than 15 television programs.
In 2007 Brovko took on the position of Director of the Prime Time Broadcasting Directorate for the radio program Mayak, where he helped to rebrand the radio station.
In 2008-2009 he worked as the creative director of Russian Pioneer journal. In 2008 Vasily Brovko founded the Apostle Center for Strategic Communications. He produced Infomania project, which the Apostle made for STS channel. In 2010 the program received a special TEFI critics’ prize for experimenting in the conversion of TV and Internet. Under his leadership Apostle worked with such companies, as Aeroflot, Oriflame, Anji football club, the largest internet provider YOTA, the Moscow Government, the Tatarstan Republican Government and others.
In 2009 he launched a TV project Unreal Politics with a well-known anchor Tina Kandelaki and the President's pool journalist Andrey Kolesnikov. For 6 months the talk show was viewed by over 5 million people. Unreal Politics became the first TV program first launched in the Internet and then transferred to the federal TV channel.
In 2012-2013 Vasily Brovko led the positioning of Rostec in Russia and abroad. The wide range of projects was developed i Under his management. They included the rebranding of Rostec and a number of holdings within the corporation, all components of the brand have been renewed. In December 2013 at the invitation of Rostec’s management he was appointed as the head of communications department, and then communications, analytics and strategic research department.
In 2014 Vasily Brovko was appointed as the member of RT-Inform Board of Directors – the company specializing in complex projects for Russian companies and holdings. He is the Chairman of the Board of the National Computerization Center – a design bureau for the creation of ecosystem products for the digital economy. As the director of RT-Expo, he oversees Rostec’s participation in the key civil exhibitions and events.
In 2016 Vasily Brovko was appointed to become a Director for Special Commissions. He is responsible for special projects within different industries – mostly, these are comprehensive development projects. Under his leadership, a project of a single electronic and educational environment is implemented, the global IT infrastructure development within the framework of 2018 World Football Championship, as well as information and analytical support, which are provided to the corporations' management bodies.
