Wu Di has served as an engineer, deputy manager, senior engineer, and general manager of the Sudan Office. He has participated in the construction and management of a series of port projects in Port Sudan and other transportation infrastructure projects.
In October 2013, China Harbour established the East African Regional Management Center. Wu Di was appointed as General Manager, who was fully responsible for the operation of the East African Zone. The regional center has jurisdiction over Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania and other countries.
In June 2014, he served as assistant general manager of China CHEC.
Since November 2016, he has served as deputy general manager of CHEC. He is responsible for the management of the electromechanical branch and over sea’s market development in East Africa and Central and Eastern Europe.
