Mrs Trapkova was born on the 17th of July, 1980.
She graduated from the Russian State University for the Humanities in the specialty “Culturology”.
Later she received additional education at the Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design.
Since 2001, Mrs Trapkova held managerial positions in areas related to project activities and development at the Liberal Mission Scientific Foundation for Theoretical and Applied Research, the autonomous non-profit Institute of Regional Policy, and the limited liability company Regionalistika.
From 2012 to 2013, Mrs Trapkova worked at the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation as Deputy Director of the Department of State Support for Arts and Folk Art and Head of the Department of Modernization Programs. She administered projects of creating innovative cultural centres.
From 2013 to 2014, Mrs Trapkova held a senior position in the Project Management Department at the Rambler Internet Holding, LLC.
From 2014 to 2017 Mrs Trapkova worked as Deputy Director at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. In this position she supervised the development of the Museum Quarter.
From 2017 to 2019, Mrs Trapkova took the position of Deputy General Director for Reconstruction and Development at the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art. Here, she supervised the reconstruction of the Hexagon pavilion (formerly the Mechanization pavilion) and the implementation of the project to create the Salyut Playground on the territory of the Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure.
By an order of the Moscow Department of Culture dated July 02, 2019, Mrs Trapkova was appointed General Director of the State Budgetary Institution of Culture of the City of Moscow “The Museum Association ‘The Museum of Moscow’”.
Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation awarded to her a commendation for organizing effective interactions with research institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
