The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 160 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 75 countries worldwide.

With more than 18 years of banking activity, of which 10 spent between London, Hong Kong and US, he has been involved in different fields spanning from credit analysis to trade finance in the UK, from project finance to innovation in Asia Pacific .He currently reports to the GM of the Innovation Center of Intesa Sanpaolo Group, the company devoted to the promotion of innovation and the creation of the Italian innovative ecosystem.

He leads the strategic initiative on Circular Economy designed to support the distinctive positioning and ad hoc business activity of one of the most relevant European Financial Institutions in its capacity as Financial Services Global Partner of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. His team is responsible for, among other activities, the validation of eligibility criteria under the €6bn CE linked Credit Plafond and the open innovation projects of the CE Lab in Milan, in collaboration with Cariplo Factory

On behalf of Intesa Sanpaolo, he has been designated to be part of the Circular Economy Financing Expert Group created by the European Commission in the context of the Circular Economy Finance Support Platform. He is also the author of ‘Re-think’ (2013) – a documentary about the need to reframe present global business models & the discourse about Climate Change. His personal goal: to manage to “reduce the risk of tomorrow” by reconnecting Business & Society. He holds a MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and a post MBA Master in Advanced Management from Yale University.
