The Roscongress Foundation – a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions; exhibitions; and sporting, public, and cultural events.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 2,500 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 122 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 69 countries worldwide.

Biography
Born in 1971 in Moscow.

In 1993 Nikolay graduated from the

Moscow State Technical University for

Motor Vehicles and Highway Construction

(MADI) majoring in road machinery, and

then received a degree in International

Economic Relations from the Financial

University under the Government of the

Russian Federation.

From 1994 to 2003 served in different functions in Audit and Management Consulting in

PriceWaterhouseCoopers, focusing on large energy sector companies consulting.

In 2003, he moved to Yukos-Moscow as Director for Project Management and Acting Director

of the Financial and Accounting Centre

In 2005, he was appointed Financial Controller and Director for Economics and Controlling at

the Siberian Coal Company.

In February 2009, he joined Rosatom state corporation as Deputy Director General for

Finance (later as Deputy Director General for Economics and Finance).

In 2011 Mr Solomon hold the office of First Deputy Director General for Corporate Functions

and Chief Financial Officer at Roastom. Until 2018 he was responsible for key directions of

development in the corporation: opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity

identification, Rosatom production system roll-out.

In June 2018 started to work in Federal Competence Center as its General Director.

Nikolay is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
