The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 2,500 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 122 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 69 countries worldwide.

Biography
Born on 1 October 1974 in the family of a military officer.

He graduated from the State Marine Technical University (Sevmashvtuz), St. Petersburg, Department of Economics and Management.

In 1998 he began his professional career in Board of Education of the Severodvinsk Administration. In 2010, he undertook professional retraining in Educational Law and became deputy head of the Department of Education of Severodvinsk administration. Then he advanced in further training in Education Administration in the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. He also studied in Skolkovo Moscow School of Management, a programme of Professional Retraining for Project Management Team Training for the Development of Mono-Industry Towns. He completed professional retraining in the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Regional Teams Development programme.

In 2013, he was appointed Minister of Education and Science of the Arkhangelsk Region.

In 2017 he took charge the Severodvinsk municipality.

Married with two daughters.
