The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 2,500 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 122 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 69 countries worldwide.

Biography
As with the majority of personnel in the Prime Minister’s Performance Management And Delivery Unit (PEMANDU), Chris seeks to contribute his experience of corporate best practices to Malaysia’s National Transformation Program. He joined the government in 2007, to drive the Manufacturing Industry Roadmap for the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER), after working for 20 years at various locations of Intel Corporation around the world. With the launch of Malaysia’s Economic Transformation Program (ETP) in 2010, he was recruited as the Director for the Electrical & Electronics and Innovation National Key Economic Area (NKEA) for which he had previously served as its “lab leader”. In 2012, Chris successfully led PEMANDU’s pioneer initiative to transfer PEMANDU’s transformation methodology to the Republic of Tanzania. The technology transfer program has since expanded to several other African, Middle East and South Asian states. Chris is now a leading member of a dedicated team dedicated to sharing PEMANDU’s best practices to governments and corporations worldwide interested in #DrivingTransformation.
