Ashok Rammohan started his PMI career in 1996 as project analyst in Hong Kong, which was followed by several job positions with increasing responsibilities in the companys finance, planning and business development department, such as General Manager in Thailand. In 2010, he was appointed PMIs Director Reduced Risk Products in Switzerland.
In 2014-2017, he was Director Reduced Risk Products Commercialization in Japan.
October 5th, 2017 Ashok Rommohan was appointed President of PMI affiliates in Russia and Belarus. His efforts on the new post will be focused on replacing conventional cigarettes with smoke-free products that can be a much better alternative for millions of adult smokers in the world, compared to continued smoking.
Mr. Rammohan was born in 1970 in Salem, India. In 1990, he graduated from the Anna University (Tamil Nadu, India) with a degree in industrial engineering. In 1995, he got an MBA in the Asian Institute of Management (Manila, Philippines).
