The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 133 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 70 countries worldwide.

Minister of Energy, Mines and Environment of the Kingdom of Morocco
Biography
Mr. Aziz Rabbah, Ex-Minister of Equipment, Transport and Logistics since January 2012, was appointed by the King Mohammed VI as Minister of Energy, Mines and Sustainable Development on 5 April 2017.

Holder of an engineering degree from INSEA (1985) and a master's degree in software engineering from Laval University, Québec, in 1992.

Mr. Rabbah was elected Mayor of Kenitra City in 2009 and was reappointed in 2015. He was elected member of the Moroccan Parliament in 2007, 2011 and 2016.

He was member of the cabinet of many Moroccan Ministers. Mr. Rabbah held several leadership positions, like a Head of IT Department of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Ministry of Trade and Industry.

He was also member of many national and international arab commissions of IT, eCommerce and eGovernment (1998-2007).

On the political front, Mr. Aziz Rabbah is one of the leaders of the Moroccan Justice and Development Party, of which he was Head of the Youth Organization (2002-2008). He is a member of the Executive Board of the Party for four terms.
