For over 15 years, Alexey Prazdnichnykh managed various projects on competitiveness, social development and public management. He has built a system of cooperation with local and federal authorities, as well as international organizations. His responsibilities involve regional development, industrial clusters and sector development, strategic planning for industrial facilities upgrading, as well as technology and innovative development.
Alexey Prazdnichnykh holds the position of Advisor in many international organizations, such as the World Bank, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. In Russia, Mr. Prazdnichnykh coordinates the World Economic Forum programme on international competitiveness. Together with the ECI, he prepares national and international reports and develops new approaches to competitiveness and public management efficiency. Alexey Prazdnichnykh is one of the founders of the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils.
Mr. Prazdnichnykh is an alumnus of Bauman Moscow State Technical University and holds a CSc from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. He has completed various development programmes.
