Green Energy: Current Challenges
We, as participants of the OPEC+ group, have always said that we didn’t need very high oil prices because they boost the global economy. We can make money from that, but then we will have to spend more to deal with the effects that will be created in industries, services, and so on. Now, we are seeing it for real, I am talking transport services and so on

Green Energy: Current Challenges
As far as international cooperation is concerned, it is clear that no one is cancelling it. Our Western colleagues are now taking a stand, let's put it this way. <...> When we said, 'How do you want us to meet our climate commitments if we are going to have limited access to finance, capital, and technology'? 'Well, do whatever you have to get it done', was the reply. That’s what we are doing

Multi-Track Diplomacy: The Role of New and Old Tools of Diplomacy in Promoting Russia’s National Interests
Of course, the hysteria surrounding sanctions and the cancellation of anything Russian, from economics to sport... Well, in terms of economics, it’s basically a war, let’s use these words. It’s geared towards destruction – not just at weakening us, but crippling us. This has fundamentally changed the volume of our work, and the nature of our work. Of course, we have to face what was once probably considered unthinkable

Multi-Track Diplomacy: The Role of New and Old Tools of Diplomacy in Promoting Russia’s National Interests
We are turning to those partners which we have long considered to be friendly, neutral, and well‑disposed. Currently these partners are under terrible pressure from our adversaries or countries committing unfriendly acts against Russia. We are actively assisting our government and the economic bloc to identify solutions to various problems related to logistics, transport, and finding new partners. Of course, we won’t delve into the details, but <...> attempts are being made to eradicate the role of diplomacy in relation to Russia. This is being done by expelling diplomats, closing representative offices, and bleeding them dry. Nevertheless, diplomacy is key in a number of areas, such as in relation to the East, Africa, and other territories. These include places where – if I may be self-critical – we indeed did not focus sufficiently on partners who were hoping for this kind of attention a few years back. We were a little too preoccupied with the well-trodden paths of our commodity flows and so on. Now all this has to be restructured

ASEAN – EAEU – SCO: Integration Segment of the Greater Eurasian Partnership
Support from the authorities and business is essential, of course. <…> Businesses themselves itself, no matter how much they want to earn and expand, are unable to do so, of course, without support from the authorities not only of their own countries but also of partner countries. So interaction as part of such partnership will be both ‘business with business’ and ‘authorities with authorities’ and ‘authorities with business’

ASEAN – EAEU – SCO: Integration Segment of the Greater Eurasian Partnership
One would, of course, want this to be cooperation and harmonization, whether in the legislative and regulatory or other spheres. To be cooperation not only in directing goods flows with all the accompanying infrastructure support (rails, spans, customs matters), to be more – scientific, technical, innovation and education. It will not be mandatory for all but depend on interest

Russia – Africa
By the end of last year, we were not only able to halt the decline in trade caused by the pandemic, but also to return to our 2019 level of USD 17 billion. I am convinced that this is far from the limit.  <…> Russia is successfully coping with the stressful situation [caused by] sporadic illegal unilateral sanctions imposed by the US and the EU, thanks to its responsible macroeconomic policy, the policy of our government. Today, they are taking systemic decisions to strengthen technological and economic sovereignty in the long term. In cooperation with international partners, we are taking steps to expand the use of national currencies and payment systems, we are working to consistently reduce the presence of dollar and the euro in mutual trade. In principle we stand for an independent and efficient financial system that is impervious to potential influence from unfriendly states. Bringing Russian and African economic operators to each other's markets is also at the top of the agenda, as well as encouraging their participation in large-scale infrastructure projects

Reset or Overload? Rethinking Multilateralism among the Ruins of Globalization: A Business Perspective
The art of diplomacy is also basically a thing of the past. It seems that we are more interconnected through videoconferencing, through the ability to communicate without physically visiting a site, but nevertheless, the art of diplomacy and the dialogue itself is increasingly split into interest groups, coalitions of interest, and then imposition occurs. And imposition is a terrible thing

Prospects for Partnership between Russia and the EU in Energy and Energy Efficiency
As for our cooperation with the EU as a structure, everything looks wry, and the partnership prospects are not that peachy either, even for the resumption of the dialogue that has developed since the 2000s, and then was essentially frozen in 2014. It happened on top of unilateral sanctions and some other measures
