The Roscongress Foundation – a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions; exhibitions; and sporting, public, and cultural events.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 126 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 69 countries worldwide Russia also cooperates with 92 Russian public organizations and 54 regional governments.

Biography
Graduated from Moscow State Academy of Instrument Engineering and Computer Science with specialization in Automation Systems for Data Processing and Management, holds a Master Degree in Strategic Management of the Higher School of Economics.

2000–2001 — Economic analyst for the Big Money TV program on the NTV Channel.

2001–2008 — worked in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation:

2001–2004 — Leading Expert, Deputy Head of the Department, Head of the Economic Development Programs Division of the Department of Economic Development Programs and Cooperation with International Financial Organizations;

2004–2008 — Deputy Director of the Department of Social and Economic Reforms Strategy, Deputy Director of the Department of Budgeting on Overall Financial Balance Results.

2008–2011 — worked for the Government of the Russian Federation:

2008 — Deputy Director of the Department of State Management, Regional Development and Local Authorities;

2009–2011 — Director of the Department of Information Technologies and Communications.

On November 30, 2012 was appointed to the position of Head of the Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation.

On May 18, 2018 was appointed to the position of Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation. He held this position until January 2020.
