Igor Muraev was born on October 17 in Omsk region.
In 1997, he graduated with honors from the Omsk State Agrarian University with a degree in “Accounting, Control and Analysis of Economic Activities”. In 1997-1998 underwent retraining at the Siberian Academy of Government Administration with a degree in “State and Municipal Administration”.
In 2004, at the Ural State Economic University he defended his thesis on "Formation of a regional market for fuel resources" with the assignment of a PhD in economics.
From 2000 to 2006, he worked at the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region, where Igor Muraev went from a leading specialist to the head of the department of the development of industrial and utility infrastructure and public administration reform.
Since 2006, Igor Muraev was appointed Deputy Minister, Head of the Department of Finance and Economics of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Omsk Region, and since 2008, First Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Utility Services of the Omsk Region.
From 2009 to 2012 - Minister of Economy of the Omsk Region.
From 2013 to 2015 - Advisor to the Director of Federal State Budgetary Institution “Roslesinforg” (FSBI “Roslesinforg”).
From 2015 to 2017 - Director of “Zapsiblesproekt” branch (Novosibirsk).
From 2017 - Director of the FSBI “Roslesinforg”.
