Creative Industries: How Not to Get Lost in the World of the Future?
There was going to be an international exhibition of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, planned to open on 3 March. <...> It was supposed to be a large-scale, very interesting project that took several years to prepare. A day before the opening, the museum administration received notifications from different countries that they were forced to withdraw their exhibits. <…> At first it was a shock, but very soon the organizers found a way out – they made the same exhibition using the exhibits they found in our country

The forbidden will cause even greater interest. In any case the Russian culture has always been “on the top of the wave”, has always been of interest to the world community, and everyone understands what value it represents. The Pros and Cons of Cultural Expansion
We mainly support large and state-sponsored projects and, of course, we have a sense of this chaotic decision-making and the lack of a well-established mechanism. The question that was announced to me for this session mentioned the theme of interaction mechanisms. I think it’s difficult to talk about mechanisms for now. And this complicates the work, which is a little depressing. The ability of our culture to influence the external field is also waning, of course. Because it must be a well-thought-out strategy that is implemented in a certain tactic

The Art of Influence: Investment in Social Communications as a Factor in Sustainable Social Change
In our regional projects, we have gone away from direct investments, from donations, because we realized that this does not change the substance of a city’s life <…> There is never enough money to make a difference in a small town. We need to change people’s way of thinking, to nurture the feeling that something can be done. Our focus is on young parents who should see prospects and development opportunities in their town

Working in the regions, we understand that credibility is not easy to build even for a major foundation with resources and ample opportunities. <…> It is quite difficult there for small NPOs and foundations
