The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 2,500 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 122 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 69 countries worldwide.

Biography
Motyzhev Sergey Vladimirovich was born in 1946 in Sevastopol. In 1974 he graduated with honors the Sevastopol Instrument Building Institute in the specialty of Radio Engineering. Since 1973, he worked in various engineering and scientific positions at the Marine Hydrophysical Institute (MHI) NASU, where in 1976 he graduated the postgraduate school. Candidate of Technical Sciences since 1986, Doctor of Technical Sciences since 1999. 2005 State Prize Winner of Ukraine in the field of science and technology. The author and co-author of about 180 scientific articles, including 42 certificates for inventions and patents. The main scientific interest is creation and implementation of measuring and information technologies for operational buoy monitoring of the World Ocean. From 2015 to present - Head of the Instrument Engineering Department at the MHI RAS. In 1996, he created an innovation enterprise - Marlin-Yug LLC. Currently, the company occupies a leading position in the world in the field of buoy instrument making, supplying innovative equipment for Russian needs and world research centers.
