The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 131 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 70 countries worldwide.

Biography
Stanislav Ivanovich Mosharov was born on June 02, 1967 in Chelyabinsk. In 1984, he graduated from the Secondary School No. 107 and the Youth-Athletic Center of Olympic Reserve “Traktor”, and later in 1989 the Chelyabinsk Polytechnical Institute. All professional and political activity of Stanislav Ivanovich Mosharov is inseparably linked with Chelyabinsk where he passed a considerable occupational path and earned trust as an experienced manager. S. I. Mosharov was twice elected to be a deputy of the Chelyabinsk City Council (the Duma). In 2010, it was elected the Mayor of Chelyabinsk (The chairman of the Chelyabinsk City Council). In 2015, he was re-elected for the position of the Chairman of the Chelyabinsk City Council.
S. I. Mosharov conducts intense public and political activity. In 2007, he joined the United Russia party. He participates in activities of the managing party bodies, being a member of the Presidium of the Chelyabinsk Regional Political Council of the United Russia. In 2017, he was appointed to be the head of the seventh Inter-municipal Coordination Council of the Chelyabinsk regional department of the United Russia party.
In 2016, according to the Directive of the President of the Russian Federation he was approved as a part of delegation of the Russian Federation to participate in the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the European Council in 2016-2020. Mr. Mosharov is the President of the Union of Russian Cities; the Chairman of Chelyabinsk regional department of All-Russian Council of Local Government; the President of the Association “Cities of Ural”; the Vice-president and a board member of the MAG Association; a board member of the Council of municipalities of Chelyabinsk region; a member of the Council under the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for local self-government; a member of the Council for local self-government under the Chairman of the State Duma; a member of the Council for Local Self-government Development under the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal District. He was awarded by the Certificate of Gratitude from the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, by the Certificate of Gratitude from the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, by the Certificate of Honor and the Letter of Acknowledgement from the General Court of Chelyabinsk region. In his free time, Mr. Mosharov plays ice-hockey and does mountain skiing. He is married and has two children.
