The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 163 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 75 countries worldwide.

Ms Hanna Laurén, graduate and alumni of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, has a strong professional background in both public and private sectors. She has worked for the European External Action Service, the European Commission as well as the Finnish Parliament. Her earlier carrier included marketing and sales positions at Lórèal as well as consultancy jobs in London, Brussels and Helsinki. Prior to joining Finnair Hanna was a business unit Director at Hill + Knowlton Strategies.

In 2013, Hanna commenced her carrier in international aviation taking over as Director for Finnair Plc, with current responsibility for airline's growth and government relations functions.

Hanna is a Board Member at Finland – Russia Chamber of Commerce, Vice-Chair of the Trade Committee of at the Finnish Confederation of Industries, Board Member of the Finland-China Business Association, Member of the Executive Committee of Airlines for Europe (A4E), Member of the Industry Affairs Committee of International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Member of the Economic Affairs Committee of Service Sector Employers (Palta). She has also been Chair of the AmCham Policy Committee (2014-2016)
