Lisitsa Andrey - Dr Sc, Full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 1999 he graduated from the Medical and Biological Faculty of Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University. In 2007 he presented his doctoral thesis in the specialty "bioinformatics". Since 1995 he has been working in Orekhovich Research Institute of Biomedical Chemistry (IBMC), since 2015 he holds the position of director.
Since 2014 Andrey Lisitsa has been a member of President’s Council for Science and Education, head of the expert group of the Coordinating Research Council of Russian Ministry of Education and Science. In 2016 he was elected to be full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is a member of international consortium "Human Proteome".
Andrey Lisitsa is an expert in application of information and communication technologies for essential problems solving in the field of life sciences. He is author of over 100 scientific works, including 2 monographs and 8 patents, scientific supervisor of 7 Ph.D. theses.
In 2005 he was awarded a science and technology prize for young scientists for the creation of a knowledge base on cytochromes P450 by the Government, in 2010 his series of works "Avogadro's inverse number concept in proteomic studies" was awarded diploma of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences for best research paper in biological and medical chemistry.
In 2016 Andrey Lisitsa was granted with a distinction "Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the Russian Federation".
