The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 160 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 75 countries worldwide.

Biography
Susan Li is an award-winning journalist who has anchored newscasts in New York, London and Hong Kong for CNBC and Bloomberg TV.

She has interviewed some of the world’s key business and political figures such as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, Citi’s CEO Michael Corbat and Blackrock’s Larry Fink.

Susan has reported on and covered events such as the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland, holding the stage in between Putin and Obama at the APEC Summit in 2014 and covering the 2012 US Elections and 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

Her namesake program First Up with Susan Li on Bloomberg TV won Best News Program at the 17th Asian Television Awards, at which Li was also Highly Commended as Best Anchor.

Susan then anchored Asia Squawk Box on CNBC which was also awarded Best News Program in 2015 at the Asian Television Awards.

Li has also worked for China Central Television’s CCTV International as an anchor based in Beijing. While there, she led the primetime World News broadcasts and hosted Biz China, the channel’s flagship business news program.
