Legal Support for National Security in the Light of Current Threats
A new textbook on social sciences is being prepared right now and will be developed next year. The current textbook was, to put it mildly, liberal or pseudo-liberal. We are now focusing on the real and enduring values of society

Legal Support for National Security in the Light of Current Threats
What challenges does the education system face today? Of course, it’s the intensive development of information and communication technologies. We are increasingly seeing that communication in social media is replacing real relationships, which is fraught with numerous dangers for the fragile consciousness of children and young people. Negativity, the falsification of information, and even aggression are present in social media. We are seeing propaganda of drugs, non-traditional relationships, and even incitement to engage in illegal activities

The Children of Donbas: Right to Safety
This is why the most important protection of children is moral protection. Unfortunately, today Nazism exists and is sprouting up in the so-called enlightened countries thanks to powerful propaganda and informational work. Today, an information war is being unleashed against our country. And we are winning this war thanks to our teachers and our education system

The Children of Donbas: Right to Safety
Today, we are doing everything to organize the educational process. On 1 September, 1,300 schools were opened in all the new constituent entities of the Russian Federation and all the schoolchildren were provided with textbooks – truthful textbooks about history, geography, and other subjects

How to Provide the Russian Economy with the Qualified Personnel?
The Professionalism programme was approved by the President, and is already in place, which is important. <...> The programme is all about training professionals. We’ll give a young person a chance to go straight into production, to join an enterprise within 2.5 years. There will be no need for them to retrain. Most important of all, we must get away from the harmful practice of college students finishing their studies or retraining on the job. The secondary vocational education system needs to train a specialist who is ready to go. <...> We can already see how much this programme is in demand – it’s an enormous competitive process. And indeed, in 2.5 years, starting from the first month of training, a person receives a practical grounding in a specific industry

International Business and Global Values: Risks and Opportunities for Creative Industries in the Next Stage of Development
Last year, at the initiative of our President amendments to the law on education were adopted. They provide for focusing on upbringing at schools. We keep saying that what we really need is the values that bring the good to the world, that teach the young generation to respect the older ones, to respect tradition, and to know the customs and traditions of your hometown or home region and your country. We are reviewing course books, programmes, and teachers’ training. It is important to make it interesting for school children. This is why we are using new technologies, including those created at our Artek centre. As for internet, <...> it has good things and bad things. <...> The so-called ‘clean internet’ is now being created. It has social media, messengers, and all the tools school children now use, but their content is verified. <...> We did not choose the path of bans. We are following the path of digital opportunities that a digital educational environment can give us

Coadaptation Issues from School to University
The Russian Federation [...] has become a leader in organizing distance learning, which is necessitated by the pandemic. Around 50 countries have used our resources and the Russian electronic school. As such, it’s also a good opportunity, among other things, for our foreign colleagues to learn more about the results and achievements of our education

Coadaptation Issues from School to University
As for the training of teachers, I believe we can say that correct training takes place in a pedagogical university or a classical university. There are pros and cons to each approach. I think it’s important to determine which programmes to teach as well as educational support and the result we will reach. I firmly believe that today a modern teacher should not only be able to teach a subject, but should also be able to talk and communicate with young schoolchildren because they are, of course, different. Be able to find a common language with them and know social media and information technologies, be modern, and be an example for students [...] It’s important that a teacher be that pillar [...], including a moral pillar for the future schoolchild, so as we develop pedagogical universities and training at pedagogical universities, we also talk a lot about this and will attach great importance to this

Coadaptation Issues from School to University
Overall, school creates a certain foundation in terms of preparing for further education at university. [...] I believe the issue of the educational system and instilling values in schoolchildren and the younger generation, which allow us, on the one hand, to be successful in life and develop, while studying at university, is no less important [...] but, on the other hand, certain moral values, which, among other things, help us keep the peace, allow us to interact with other countries. And we can see, with the pandemic, for example, how fragile the world is and how important these issues of interaction and cooperation are. I also believe it’s very important for us to agree on certain common values that we instil in young people in order for us to preserve our planet and preserve our peace [...] so it’s probably time to talk about this too. And talk at the international level

Coadaptation Issues from School to University
A project to send Russian language teachers [abroad] turned out to be in great demand. I believe we have about a thousand teachers in Uzbekistan [...] We have even created a group of four ministers – Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia – and we are discussing these issues, i.e., sending teachers to schools and to rural schools. We launched such a programme based at our Herzen University [...] because building a school takes time and involves certain expenses, of course, but sending teachers [abroad] is in great demand

Creating a Modern School: New Opportunities for the State and Business to Collaborate through the National Education Project
Without fact-based results we cannot manage the system and get a full understanding of what we did well and what we did not. <…> If school principals are appointed through their connections with the head of the municipality, narratives that we are supposed to have the most innovative education are not going to work
