The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 130 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 70 countries worldwide.

Born 17 March 1974 in Moscow.

1996: Graduated with honours from Moscow State Open Pedagogical University with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science Education.

2000: Graduated with honours from MGIMO University with a degree in State and Municipal Management with foreign language proficiency.

Has a DSc in Education and the status of Assistant Professor.

1994–1996: Maths teacher at School No. 176 in Moscow;

1996–1999: Postgraduate student at the Institute of Education Computerisation, Russian Academy of Education;

1998–2006: Researcher, Senior Researcher and Head of Laboratory at the Institute of Education Management, Russian Academy of Education;

2006–2008: Assistant to the Head of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science;

2008–2009: Director of the Federal Testing Centre;

2009–2011: Director of the Institute of Education Management, Russian Academy of Education;

2011–2012: Deputy Director and Director of the Regional Development Department, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation;

2012–2013: Director of the Department of Programme Management and Competitive Procedures, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

2013–2020: Head of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science. October 2017 — May 2018: Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and Head of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science;

21 January 2020: Appointed Minister of Education of the Russian Federation by a presidential executive order.
