Mikhail Kolesnikov – vice-president, OPORA ROSSII
Born on September 14, 1960 in Novosibirsk.
Leading Federal expert in Russian fuel and energy complex development.
Graduated the Novosibirsk Electromechanical Institute cum laude with a degree in Electrical Machines in 1982, qualified Electromechanical Engineer.
Graduated Russian Foreign Trade Academy in 1993, qualified Economist in International Relations with foreign language skills. He speaks fluent English and French.
Attended the Graduate School of Management in Paris in 1993.
In 1992 founded a company, which is currently the leading manufacturer and supplier of domestic electric power equipment.
Since 2009 to the present day Chairman of the Electricity Committee of OPORA ROSSII. In 2015 elected vice-president of power industry.
From 2012 to 2017 member of the Investments Committee of the Board of Directors of PAO Rosseti (formerly Holding MRSK).
From 2014 to 2016 member of the executive group on the implementation of the road map Improvement of Energy Infrastructure Availability and the Consumer Council on the operations of PAO Rosseti and its subsidiaries and affiliates.
From 2015 to 2016 member of the Board of Directors of PAO FSK, worked in the Audit and Personnel & Compensation Committees of the company.
Since 2014 to the present day member of the Strategy Committee of the Board of Directors of PAO Rosseti (formerly Holding MRSK).
Since 2015 to the present day member of the Board of Directors of PAO Yantarenergo, and a member of the Committee for Technological Integration of the company. From 2015 to 2017 – chairman of the later committee.
Since 2017 to the present day member of the Development of the Far East Committee of PAO RusHydro Board of Directors.
