Born in 1965, since 1978 lives in Norilsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In 1982, he graduated from High School No. 6, Norilsk.
From 1982 to 1987, he studied at the Norilsk Industrial Institute and graduated with honours (Lenin scholarship holder) with a degree in civil engineering.
From 1987 to 1988 he served in missile troops of the Soviet Army as a computer operator and obtained the rank of lieutenant in reserve.
From 1989 to 2010, he worked at the Norilsk Department of Gersevanov Research Institute of Bases and Underground Structures (NIIOSP) under Rosstroy. Head of the Norilsk department. Wrote a thesis ‘Studies of Pile Foundations in Changing Permafrost Conditions (in the Norilsk Industrial Region context)’.
Since 1990, as a head teacher (part-time), and later as an assistant professor, he read courses ‘Concrete and Masonry Structures’ and ‘Strategy for Information Technology in Construction’ at the Department of Construction and Heat, Gas and Water Supply of the Norilsk Industrial Institute.
Mr Kerimov authored 75 academic papers, participated in international academic conferences in Russia, Portugal, Romania, Germany, Japan, Holland, Spain, France, USA, Greece, and Croatia.
Since 1997, Member of the Norilsk Urban Council.
Since March 2018, Advisor to the Mayor of Norilsk on the Arctic construction.
