In 2014, she graduated from Tomsk State University with a degree in the organization of work with youth.
From March to September 2014, she worked as a methodologist of the State Budgetary Institution of the YNAO District Youth Centre, Salekhard.
From September 2014 to February 2019, she worked in various positions at the Center for Student Programs of the Russian Union of Youth, Moscow.
Since April 2019, she has held the position of youth project manager of Russia – Land of Opportunities, Moscow.
Irina Karikh is actively involved in the implementation of socially significant projects in Russia, such as the all-Russian festival Russian Student Spring, the Russian national award Student of the Year, the musical project Universvision as part of the cultural programme of the XXIX World Winter Universiade 2019, the all-Russian project Ethnomod, the all-Russian project In Motion, and the educational forum Media Spring. During her work she proved to be a competent and proactive specialist with a high capacity for work and responsibility.
She made a significant contribution to organizing and conducting the nationwide vote to approve amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, namely to develop and organize socially significant events aimed at increasing positive content in social media aimed at the younger generation (all-Russian student graduation, all-Russian campaign Songs of the Great Victory). She was also involved in addressing the priorities of domestic policy, including work to prepare and hold the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students (2017), work to prepare and hold the Russian presidential (2018), etc.
