International Cooperation between Women: Potential and Prospects
Regarding this topic (Women in the Pharmaceutical Industry – Ed.), we see, feel, and understand the objective need to build international cooperation. And all structures, namely the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Health, and Rosexport (we signed an agreement today), support us. And I think they will support women even more actively when agreements are signed

International Cooperation between Women: Potential and Prospects
Today, we see that the potential of women and cooperation is very important as logistics are changing and other chains of cooperation are being built in order to maintain supplies and, most importantly, to adjust the production of needed in the country products. In this regard, Valentina Ivanovna (Matvienko, Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation – Ed.) has met with women who have already started exporting in a new situation, in a new reality. It is amazing that women began to adapt faster than men, that women felt that, in fact, in this situation, they can rely on themselves and on their teams only. Therefore, I think we will support this export potential of women entrepreneurs

Promoting a Socially Oriented Sustainable Future
There is a problem of reaching the families with kids. We have been saying for years that poverty has migrated. We need to act fast. We need to account for families with multiple children, incomplete families, families with two children. Everything calls for us to build our social policy taking multiple interests into account: not just large groups, but each group separately. It will ultimately make us customer-oriented

Equal Opportunities in the Digital Age
We should promote girls and young women in mathematics and computer science. <…> In five years, they will not be competitive. We need to look for new ways, change the school curriculum, change attitudes in the family

Equal Opportunities in the Digital Age
Women’s agenda for us appears incredibly important. Russia managed to present a whole range of programmes on the international level. During a UNIDO session [United Nations Industrial Development Organization, – Ed.] we presented a platform to advance women’s agenda in the countries where UNIDO has a mandate. We are very content, as a whole array of those ideas passed and certain steps are already being implemented

The 78+ Target: Responding to the Challenges of the Pandemic
Despite the measures that have been taken within healthcare, the whole system, the whole industry, needs to be reconfigured. Above all there is a need to take a new look at the modernization of primary health care. <...> What is also important is to reconfigure the system of personnel training and retraining. If we talk about restructuring the health care system, we have raised the question of modernizing the infectious disease service on more than one forum. <...> We see that 70% of those who have had coronavirus need rehabilitation. We need a new formula for creating this system

The 78+ Target: Responding to the Challenges of the Pandemic
Truly unprecedented measures have been taken in the areas of health care support, business support and, of course, social support for citizens. And what is the first lesson we learned? In my opinion it is the importance of changing the attitudes toward one's health, the health of loved ones, and the overall health of the family. It is important to change attitudes in general towards doctors, healthcare, and this is the first thing that is happening in society today

Women in the Creative Industries
We can help to ensure that projects for including women themselves in the development of creative industries has support in Russia... It is necessary to adopt laws which allow the regulatory prescription of support measures, to give a more precise definition, because we have different understandings of what the creative industry is

Women in the Creative Industries
In Russia, I had a look at the statistics, the proportion [in general economy structure] of the creative industries is 2–4%. This, of course, is a miniscule share. The creative sector of the economy presupposes a connection with human intellectual activity, a creative approach, and innovative technologies. And in this respect, traditional arts and crafts, creative activities, of course, first and foremost in education, in culture — all this testifies to the big contribution of women’s participation in the development of the creative sector

Women in the Creative Industries
The economic aspect of creative industries is very important. The current year 2021 has been declared the International Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable Development by the UN. The creative industry is the most dynamic sector of the economy today. If we take the global average indicators or growth rates, this is 12–14% per year

After the first Eurasian Women's Forum which was 3 years ago, 12 major projects were launched. Particularly, together with the American women who were at the Eurasian Women's Forum, we launched a powerful project Women in STEM. It is the promotion of girls and women to informatization
