The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 159 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 75 countries worldwide.

Martin Kallen is the CEO of UEFA Events SA, a wholly-owned company of UEFA, in charge of managing all operational and commercial aspects for UEFA competitions.

Martin joined UEFA Marketing Department in 1994, having held several management positions in business administration and marketing. He was the COO of EURO 2004 SA, responsible for delivering the UEFA European Football Championship in Portugal, then became the CEO of EURO 2008 SA and led the successful delivery of the tournament in Switzerland and Austria.

In 2010, Martin became Operations Director of the newly created company UEFA Events SA, responsible for operational matters for national team and club competitions of UEFA.

In this role, he led UEFA EURO 2012 in Poland and Ukraine, followed by UEFA EURO 2016 in France, simultaneously holding the position of the CEO of EURO 2016 SAS, a joint venture created by UEFA and the French Football Federation to deliver the tournament.

Alongside the centralisation of commercial rights for club competitions and European Qualifiers, Martin piloted the internalisation of match operations within UEFA, leading to greater operational synergies between club football and national team football.

With several editions of UEFA EURO, Champions League and Europa League finals under his belt, Martin Kallen is a recognised leader in sports management and has been holding the position of the CEO of UEFA Events SA since July 2015.

He is also a Delegate of the Board in UEFA Club Competitions SA, a joint venture created by UEFA and ECA in 2017, with the purpose of supporting UEFA with the development of strategies for UEFA club competitions. Finally, Martin represents UEFA as a Board member of CAA Eleven and Delegate of the Board at TEAM Marketing, the agencies in charge of marketing the rights of UEFA competitions.
