Best Practices for Involving the Private Sector in Efforts to Accomplish National Development Goals
When we saw companies that are at serious risk, we decided to try to conduct interviews with these companies. We told them about the risks, and recommended to correct some mistakes in order to finish the project and reach a high-quality result... Today, we can say that... by adjusting and fixing their mistakes at an early stage, 108 contracts have already been completed, this is RUB 8 billion. Not a single company went bankrupt, people continue to work and implement projects that they can be proud of later

Best Practices for Involving the Private Sector in Efforts to Accomplish National Development Goals
What do we want to achieve by checking how our national projects work? The tax office starts an on-site audit, blocks accounts, charges additional taxes, collects those taxes. Then colleagues from the Ministry of the Interior join us, they completely block the work of the company, and arrest its property. Excellent job was done by all of us at all stages, but the question is what happened to the project. Where is the project? <...> The question is if we can develop a system that will allow us to see the risks, the hypothesis that in the future this or that legislation may be violated and nothing will be built,

Union State: Economic Integration – New Challenges
What is behind this integration and what are we doing it all for? I very much like the phrase “not notice”. That is, when we communicate, when we cross the border in everyday life, we understand that everything is very similar, very much the same. And then a situation suddenly arises when that is not the case. What in classical theory of law we call a form of sovereignty, separate taxation, has a reverse side to it. […] So we and our colleagues from the Tax Service of Belarus took very seriously the task of establishing the procedures to decide, above all, the question of “unnoticeably”. We can proudly say that the first programme has been fulfilled and the monitoring system launched. And now it is up to the states to determine which types of goods take into this system

The Client-Centric State
The law is very likely to change. We will probably outline the principles rather than elaborate on each function individually, because in that case we will not be able to achieve client-centricity. Otherwise, the law is going to wither away, like the language of the Brahmins

Digital Services for Businesses
The more options and diversity, the more chances to survive. At present, we are seeing through the eyes of the tax authorities that the approach to the principle of common platforms will be reborn. It’s all about how one properly formulates the data so that it is processed in different places and is convenient for everyone. We are getting to the point where different people are working in their personal account and need different profiles

The Future of Russia’s Tax System: Stepping Up to the Challenge
We can work without clearly describing every action [...] Right now we have been talking a lot about how the government should provide maximum services. What are maximum services? This means customization for each individual and it’s very flexible. How can we provide this flexibility with legislative micromanagement? There are legal relations where we can form principles. If the actions of government agencies meet the principles, then they should work like that

The Future of Russia’s Tax System: Stepping Up to the Challenge
Technologies offer incredible opportunities today. We are all discussing what a post-industrial economy looks like. If you look at the birthplace of data, it is born out of the relationship of taxpayers. We analysed the international experience and found that when the state puts its interests ahead of everything else, we get difficult technology and everyone resists. That is why all our activities focus on electronic document management and how much it suits taxpayers. Then we’ll see, maybe we don’t need to request declarations if all the data is already entered, as it is for the self-employed
