Honourable Ayanda Dlodlo is the Minister of State Security of the Republic of South Africa since 30 May 2019. She served as the Deputy Minister of Public Service and Administration of South Africa, from November 2010 until March 2017. She also served in various portfolios as Minister of Communications, Home Affairs and the Public Service and Administration between March 2017 and April 2019. She is a member of the African National Congress (ANC) and a former combatant ofthe ANCs armed wing, Umkhonto we Sizwe. She served as the SecretaryGeneral ofthe Umkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans Association (MKMVA) for ﬁve years. She holds postgraduate qualifications in the fields of Business Management Development, Shipping and Transport Management and currently reading towards her Master in Business Administration (MBA).
