Cruise Control: New Aviation Routes in the Far East
When switching to new types of aircraft, we will have to establish warehouses for spare parts and technical personnel. These things are subsidized at the Federal level. We could consider the possibility of the Far Eastern airline’s extending these types of support to new Russian aircraft as well as to all the types of Russian aircraft the airline will receive. This would make it possible to flatten out the economic model and not just dump it in the ticket price

Unmanned Logistics Corridors: Russia is Building a Digital Bridge Between Asia and Europe
If the government is ready to invest in infrastructure now, both fixed and mobile, the burden of scaling the project in other areas should eventually fall on businesses. It is not possible to function only when the project is backed by the government. Together with our colleagues, we are starting to look at what businesses could gain from the implementation of this technology

Unmanned Logistics Corridors: Russia is Building a Digital Bridge Between Asia and Europe
It is very important for the government to participate in creating the fixed infrastructure, which is required for the self-driving vehicles, and in stimulating the development of a mobile infrastructure – one that will be used in a vehicle and ensure its operation

Unmanned Logistics Corridors: Russia is Building a Digital Bridge Between Asia and Europe
We need the willpower to be conveyed in strategic legislations, so as to demonstrate that this will inevitably happen. At the initial stage, we need the government to determine the operators who would be managing this at first: operators of the control system, dispatchers of unmanned vehicles, or the first basic vehicle operators

Unmanned Logistics Corridors: Russia is Building a Digital Bridge Between Asia and Europe
The technology must be supported and developed. We find ourselves in the same starting position with the others where we can launch projects that promote something new and promising; this is a huge responsibility and it is very important. We have a number of projects at the State Transport Leasing Company, where we are the catalyst at the initial stage of development. We are testing the new types of aircraft, which are only yet to be launched into production by the industry, and the new types of vehicles that are still being designed

Achieving Strategic Objectives
We started to implement the Safe Roads priority project in the Ministry of Transport. Over the past year of its implementation it has been remarkably successful. It was in the top three in terms of recognition and efficiency, as assessed by the people. [...] I assure you that if a project initiated at the federal level and designed for the regions is not urged on from above, nothing will get done. It is a set of initiatives and solutions that are replicated by the region.

The Impact of the Natural Gas Engine on the Economy and Climate
[According to the transport strategy, – Ed.], by 2030, the share of vehicles running on alternative fuels, including NGV, will reach at least 49%. <…> In order to increase the number of NGV-fueled vehicles, we suggest providing targeted support for purchasing NGV-fueled transport in the regions that have already created conditions for its exploitation. Now in Russia there are 26 such regions. We suggest combining them into seven clusters for accelerated development of the NGV fuel market. <…> We plan to help regions purchase passenger transport that runs on NGV. There are 20 billlion roubles reserved in the federal budget for these purposes

The International Cross-Sectoral Balance and Transport Corridors
The government of the Russian Federation has prepared and submitted a draft law on digital filling of goods that are moving across the territory of the Russian Federation to the State Duma. This institution will not only provide information to the consignor and the consignee about the cargo, but also provide preliminary controlling authorities at the border with information on what is being carried. This will allow forming a risk profile for certain goods or shippers in advance and allow a significant part of the cargo travel across the border through the green corridor, increasing the speed of the cargo and reducing transport costs
