Francesco has been with McKinsey’s Moscow office since 2004, having previously worked in the company’s Milan office.
He heads up McKinsey’s Business Technology practice in Russia and the CIS and Organization practice in EEMA (Eastern Europe, the CIS, the Middle East and Africa). Francesco focuses on agile transformation and projects related to organizational transformation and technological development of companies’ operations. He has extensive expertise in organizational design and IT strategy development, as well as in building IT architecture for customers from various industries. He has also advised a number of large financial institutions from Europe on retail business strategy. Francesco di Marcello coauthored the McKinsey study "Digital Russia: New Reality.” Before joining McKinsey, Francesco worked in a global systems integrator, managing major projects involving the introduction of new products for automobile and financial services companies across Europe. Francesco has a diploma from Politecnico di Torino.
