Young People’s View on Finance and Sustainable Development
The day-to-day habits which could lead to accomplishing sustainable development goals need to be instilled at a very young age – perhaps even at nursery school. In addition, an active lifestyle and good diet are important to sustainable development. Obviously, a healthy body means a healthy mind. You cannot solve major problems and expose yourself to a lot of stress without having an outlet through physical activity. Basically, for most of your life, you need to be in relatively healthy shape

It is important to have a high-quality education. You know, not having a high-quality education should be shameful. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be a higher education. I have great respect for special technical education, for locksmiths, mill operators, and other blue-collar professions. What’s important is being a true professional in your field

Young People’s View on Finance and Sustainable Development
The basics of financial literacy should form a high-quality and major part of a person’s education. A person who has completed school, a special secondary educational institution, or a higher educational institution should have undergone a fully-fledged course in financial literacy. That way, everyone would know precisely what is meant by a deposit, an investment in a unit trust, life insurance, shares, and bonds. These are the basic tools which any unqualified investor should understand

Young People’s View on Finance and Sustainable Development
The volunteer movement is an important aspect. Of course, all other things being equal, young people have special qualities when compared to other demographic groups. They have more time, more energy, and more enthusiasm. Yes, retirees also like to volunteer, which is great. However, they have a little less strength than their grandchildren. Young people can speak to different segments of the population and help people form these habits. They can help them achieve some sustainable development at a household level. Each small step contributes to a huge leap forward

Anti-Monopoly Legislation and Economic Support Under the Current Conditions
Today, when the foreign <...> infrastructure that we used to get information is gone from the Russian market, we need to have an alternative. Otherwise, we will use biased data, which can definitely lead to big problems in terms of competition and determining the real value, price dumping and other actions

We would like to ensure non-discriminatory access to suppliers of different types of services. It should not only be affiliated companies from both the financial and non-financial sectors, but the broadest possible pool of suppliers that meet the basic conditions of quality and financial stability

National Green Standard: From Words to Deeds
So far, a large number of companies have closed the disclosure of information about their finances, status, all the information that may contribute to additional sanctions pressure. And that's right. We are currently examining how much disclosure of additional non-financial information can be considered in the context of additional sanctions pressure

Essentially, we need to understand what kind of economic model we will have, what kind of costs the budget should incur for structural adjustment, and how corporations will cope with the shocks and challenges that have befallen them. From my point of view, a meaningful dialogue on this can start in the beginning of 2023

What has changed dramatically? There are changes indeed. The issue of resources has changed – they are very limited today. Budget resources are limited. Resources of companies that were previously ready to actively invest in the green agenda and, to a lesser extent, in the social agenda are limited as well. [...] At the moment, resources are limited. When the situation becomes a little easier, everything should be ready to move sharply towards the implementation of this direction in order to meet the benchmarks and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 or 2060

The popular idea is that, given the fact that we have much more complicated international relations, the European Union and the United States of America as drivers of this agenda are not our partners. It's true and this means that we can not to move in this direction. This is a big mistake. We continue to exist in the international trade and economic field

The Russian Financial Market: What Lies Beyond the Horizon of Sanctions? (dialogue between the regulator and regulated)

The Russian Financial Market: What Lies Beyond the Horizon of Sanctions? (dialogue between the regulator and regulated)
When sanctions were imposed, it became very convenient to cut off foreign infrastructure elements, which led to major violations of rights of those Russian investors who invested in these instruments, as well as those Russian creditors, who used this infrastructure to get money for economic projects

We do not have any information on the decision-making process for the sanctions against the NSD. However, I am confident that partially the motivation behind this decision was solely to remove the risk of a lawsuit from foreign investors, rather than from Russian investors, regarding not being able to receive any payments for a long period of time because strict compliance procedures have been frozen

When the crisis hit, the first step we made was ensuring financial stability. <…> Then we have reached the second stage – it is crucial – this is where we find ourselves now. We are trying to untangle a bunch of problems we are facing. Stage three will be the development stage. I fully agree with Sergey [Shvetsov, – Ed.]. It will start when we reach a plateau. We are at a point where things are just too volatile

Russia's Financial Sector in a New Environment
Given market compression, the consolidation of the banking sector and other segments of the financial sector, it is clear that competition is coming to the fore. [...] We must take decisions that will ensure as competitive an environment as possible

Although the banking system has shown a high level of resilience, it has still suffered losses. And if we want the potential for lending and the provision of other financial services to work in spite of everything, we’ll probably have to commit to some capital injections. Russia's Financial Sector in a New Environment
We are at a kind of turning point right now, when the majority of people and businesses have almost all their savings in foreign currencies – they are savings in toxic currencies, the dollar and the euro. [...] And in this respect, we have to be very careful about how we address this issue, we can’t make drastic decisions – through commissions, negative interest rates – to reduce the value of the asset for our clients. [...] Both businesses and individuals have suffered very seriously from the way the situation has changed, and to deprive them additionally of part of their assets would be an unreasonable decision. It would be wrong

We have started to allow concessions for the financial sector. [...] But this period – it won’t last forever, the concessions will have to end at some point, and we should already be thinking seriously about just how fast we will return, and whether the limits will be the same as before.  […] Of course, for lenders and investors alike, it is fundamentally important that they see that the entity they are investing in is transparent. On the other hand, we understand that the return cannot take place too quickly because we need to ensure financial sustainability. [...] We can tighten the screws overnight, but nothing good will come of it,

The less the government interferes in the exchange rate, the better for the economy because it is market pricing that balances supply and demand. [...] It seems to me that all the decisions we make reflect the current reality. A combination of factors, the adjustment of the economy to the new environment, have led to the 9.5% rate we have today. If conditions change for the better with this inflation – and we definitely need low inflation for macroeconomic stability, for long-term financing and investment, for economic development – then perhaps we will have some hope of lowering the rate

The Role of Health Insurance Organizations in Delivering Obligatory Health Insurance Systems
Creating a certain indicative rating, a very soft rating of healthcare facilities. It is a useful thing. It precisely helps the supervising organizations to pay special attention to a healthcare facility, on the one hand, and for the medical insurance provider itself to concentrate its efforts for control over a certain medical insurance provider, on the other hand
