Towards a Sustainable Future: A Green Alternative to Traditional Fuel
Allocating RUB 3.3 billion for preferential subsidies for credit organizations is nothing for a market of this kind. This amount should be tripled. We need RUB 10 billion to stimulate consumer demand for natural-gas transport

Towards a Sustainable Future: A Green Alternative to Traditional Fuel
Introducing gas-engine machinery is the right and the most natural of all possible ways for us. <…> Gazprom has spent over 30 billion to create an infrastructure. In total, all our manufacturers have spent RUB 10 billion more to master the production of gas-engine machinery. Now we do not have to spend a single extra rouble to start mass production

Towards a Sustainable Future: A Green Alternative to Traditional Fuel
Russia is the richest country in natural gas reserves, but we do not use it. We demonstrate zero efficiency. Our natural gas fueling stations are 36% efficient. Their profitability is zero.  They are running at a loss

Transformation of Cooperation Chains: New Opportunities and Prospects
In this situation, we need to learn from the experience of countries that have been living under sanctions for decades. I hope that my distinguished colleague here, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Venezuela Delcy Rodriguez, will share some thoughts. They’ve been living with this pressure for a number of years. Iran has been living with it for decades, Cuba, Nicaragua, Syria. I think we can benefit from this experience,

Transformation of Cooperation Chains: New Opportunities and Prospects
Practice has shown attempts of this sort to come back and hit the countries imposing the sanctions like a boomerang. In the interim, when the sanctions had not yet fully come into force, those imposing the sanctions were rushing to buy our hydrocarbons, buy our fertilizers and food, fill up their reserves to get by for a certain period without too much pain

Transformation of Cooperation Chains: New Opportunities and Prospects
The conditions necessary for technological security are better here than in other countries – broadly speaking and not only for food, energy, and defence. We’ve got everything – land, water, minerals in abundance. The people are smart, educated, and maybe that’s our greatest asset

The Investment Attractiveness and Export Potential of Strategically Important Industries
We believe, creating a base bank is a very timely and necessary decision, which allows us to lend to industries by accumulating large funds in that bank. And not only in defense industry, but in various sectors, in civil projects particularly

The Investment Attractiveness and Export Potential of Strategically Important Industries
Russia has lost about 3% of GDP, although developed economies shrank by around 4.4%. But it [the pandemic] also cost us a pretty penny. As you know, we had to spend nearly 4 trillion roubles on top of the budget on targeted support measures, primarily in the strategically important industries

Russia – Qatar
I would like to note the advanced investment partnership between our countries. The Qatar Investment Authority is the third largest owner of Rosneft shares after Rosneftegaz and British Petroleum. In 2013, the Qatar Investment Authority took part in a VTB Bank's public offering, becoming one of the largest foreign shareholders of this Russian bank. Cooperation with the Russian Direct Investment Fund is successfully developing as part of a joint investment platform. In particular, we signed agreements on entering equity capital of Magnit and Lenta retail chains, Pulkovo Airport, Alrosa and the PhosAgro group, as well as financing the construction of the Central Ring Road and many other projects

Russia – Qatar
The new coronavirus infection has become a shock test for the entire world and led to record socio-economic losses. National economies and the international trade system as a whole have suffered significant damage. Unfortunately, our countries are no exception. In this regard, the need to improve the investment climate and create mutually comfortable conditions for the implementation of business projects becomes even more urgent

Russia – Qatar
The multifaceted partnership and interaction between Russia and Qatar, which did not interrupt even during the pandemic, is on the rise today. We are satisfied with the pace of development of Russian-Qatari business relations gained over the recent years. One of the priority tasks remains to improve the quality and quantitative indicators in bilateral trade. In 2020, Russian-Qatari trade increased by 22%, and this is not the limit
