Tomasz Bochenek took office as President of Microsoft in Russia on August 31, 2017. Previously he served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and played an important role in ensuring the efficient operation, growth and digital transformation of Russian business, significantly contributing to the success of the corporation in Central and Eastern Europe.
Tomasz joined Microsoft in April 2000 as the GM of Poland. Over 5 years under his leadership, the Microsoft business in Poland grew by +200%. In November 2005, Tomek was appointed to SMSG VP of Central and Eastern Europe, and was responsible for growing the business across CEE, driving customer satisfaction and gaining market share from the competition. Under Tomek’s leadership, the CEE Area increased revenue and was the fastest growing region in the world. During 2011-2014 Tomek lead CCG organization across CEE. Starting from July 1st 2014 Tomek was Acting General Manager for CEE Multi Country. Tomasz graduated and got his Master´s Degree of Engineering in Warsaw University of Technology. Holds a Certificate in Business Administration from Open University United Kingdom and MBA from University of Minnesota.
Before Microsoft Tomasz worked for IBM Polska Sp. z o.o, Compaq Computers Sp. z. o.o. Tomasz is married, has a son. His hobbies are skiing, sailing, tennis.
