The Roscongress Foundation – a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions; exhibitions; and sporting, public, and cultural events.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 2,500 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 122 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 69 countries worldwide.

1981 — graduated with honours from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Department of Economics, with a degree in economic cybernetics.

1981–1986 — intern researcher, junior researcher at the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences.

1986–1990 — junior researcher, researcher, senior researcher at the Institute of Economics and Scientific and Technical Progress Forecasts of the USSR Academy of Sciences.

1990–2006 — senior researcher, then head of a laboratory at the Institute of National Economy Prognostication of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

2006–2008 — Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation.

2008 — Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

2008–2012 — Director, Department of Economy and Finance of the Government of the Russian Federation.

2012–2013 — Economic Development Minister of the Russian Federation.

Since June 24, 2013 — Aide to the President of the Russian Federation.

Since January 21, 2020 — First Deputy Prime Minister.

Class I Active State Advisor of the Russian Federation. PhD in Economics.

2007 — awarded honorary title of Honoured Economist of the Russian Federation.

2009 — awarded Order of Honour.
