The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 162 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 75 countries worldwide.

Vladimir Basko

General Director, Infopark Association; Chairman, Committee for Digital Agenda of EAEU Business Council
Since 2017 Mr. Vladimir Basko is Chairman of the Committee of the Business Council of the Eurasian Economic Union on the digital agenda where he is responsible for consolidating business visions of the Eurasian Economic Union digitalization.

Mr. Vladimir Basko has a wide experience of work in developing digital technologies. In 2004 he initiated the creation of the Association Infopark and then was appointed as Director General of the Association. In 2016 he initiated the creation of the Digital Business Confederation and was elected as its Chairman.

He is also Vice-Chairman of the Belarusian Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers) (since 2012), Co-chairman of the Belarusian-Lithuanian Business Cooperation Council and an active participant of councils and working groups under the state bodies of the Republic of Belarus.

He graduated from the Belarusian State University in 1982 (Diploma of applied mathematics). From 1982 to 1989 he lectured at the Belarusian Technological Institute. Mr. Vladimir Basko ran a number of dedicated training courses in Applied Management (1991, Moscow, Academy of Management of USSR and IBM corporation); Management and Marketing in the field of Informatics (1993, Germany, International Academy for Science, Education and Technology Transfer); and Management and Marketing in the field of Informatics (1995, Netherlands, KPMG and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Amsterdam).
