Leonid Altukhov was born on May 24, 1964
He graduated from the Moscow Energy Institute, Department of Automatics and Telemechanics, Faculty of Automatics and Computational Engineering, qualifying as a mathematical engineer). Open University MBA (London) 1999–2002.
1987 to 1994: academic activities at the Computation Centre of the Moscow Energy Institute.
Since 1995, Leonid’s career and life have been closely linked to the company IBM. He began his professional career as a technical consultant and rose to the position of sales director for Unix systems and later, in 1999, sales director for IMB software products.
2001 and 2002: headed a united department selling IBM and Lotus software products.
2002: Software Sales Director of IMB East Europe/Asia. Under him, the software sales department demonstrated significant growth and expansion, with its sales in Russia and the CIS rising.
2010: Vice-President and Director for Regional Development of IBM in Russia and the CIS.
His professional qualities have been acknowledged with diplomas and letters of gratitude from the IBM CEE administration; in particular, twice, in 2002 and 2004, with the diploma «Best Sales Department of IBM Products». The performance of the IBM East Europe/Asia under him was highly appraised by both corporate clients and the federal authorities.
May 2012: invited to join SAP as Vice-President for Russia and the CIS. In the renewed structure of SAP’s Moscow branch, he oversaw the company’s priority areas: public and financial sectors, headed the Strategic Industries Department and was also responsible for sales of discrete parts, including machinery and equipment.
2014: President of Interprocom, a leading company on Russia’s IT market. Interprocom is a system integrator, developer and distributor of software and hardware products of the world’s major vendors Anaplan, Arcserve, CA, Commvault, Microsoft, NetIQ, Novell, Quantum, SugarCRM, SUSE and Violin Memory.
Since 1996, Interprocom has been an IBM Premier Business Partner.
In 2015, the company’s status was confirmed as IBM’s certified bronze and gold partner for the platforms IBM Cognos Business Intelligence, IBM TRIRIGA and IBM Maximo Asset Management.
The company has successfully implemented major IT projects for private companies and government organizations at the federal and regional levels. Its customers include the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, Sberbank of Russia, Gazprombank, MTS Bank, Uralsib, Alfa Bank, the Russian companies of Gazprom, Transnefteproduct, Slavneft, Russian Post, Russian Railways, Domodedovo Airport, and others. Interprocom’s key business consists in development of information systems to boost the efficiency of clients’ enterprises and organisations.

The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of nationwide and international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, youth, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.
The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image.
