Farrukh Alimdjanov is an expert in industrial modernization at the United National Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Mr. Alimdjanov has over 20 years of experience in international organizations, as well as private and state facilites. Farrukh Alimdjanov started his career at UNIDO as Deputy Director of Cleaner Production Center in Uzbekistan in 2006. In 2007 he joined UNIDO Department for Private Sector Development as an international consultant. Currently Mr. Alimdjanov holds the position of industrial development expert in Trade, Investment and Innovation Department, Business Environment, Clusters and Innovation Development Division. Before joining UNIDO in 2001 Farrukh Alimjanov worked as the Head of European Countries Department in Information and Analytics Division of the Ministry for Foresign Economic Relations of Uzbekistan. Mr. Alimjanov has over 7 years of experience in private sector. Farrukh Alimjanov has a Master’s degree in Economic Analysis and International Development (University of Auvergne/CERDI, France), as well a Master’s degree in International Economic Relations (Tashkent State University of Economics).
