Bringing the Far East Closer: Approaches to Reducing Transport Costs
We are about 300% overloaded in terms of export capacity in almost all regions. The only way out we see is unmanned transport [...] This year, we are launching two vehicles in Chukotka. These include products made by Russian Helicopters and vehicles with good lift capability, with a payload of 50 to 100 kilograms, and a flight path of up to 350 kilometres. This suits us perfectly. It’s important not only for the Far East, but also for the centre of Russia [...] The answer to the question of how to bring the Far [East] closer [...] for us there is only one answer – it’s drones

E-Commerce in the EAEU by 2025
Thanks to the heroes who are present here <...>, the Russian market has gone through a real revolution, because these people managed to provide our customers with the best experience – the experience of one-day fast delivery, at least in cities of over a million people, of a one-click solution to their problems. And the primary task is to provide this experience to all citizens of the EAEU. My point is that the experience of senders and the experience of recipients should be unified

E-Commerce in the EAEU by 2025
It seems to me that the key issue for the upcoming years is, first of all, digital infrastructure, data flows and documents, rather than the logistics infrastructure itself, because there is a new terminal network, new warehouses, and at consumption points there is already fulfillment, where the final shipment needs to be created, and all sorts of services are developing

Digital Services for Businesses
The job for all of us, for entrepreneurship, for us, logisticians, and for those who provide electronic document management services and integration with government agencies, is to make this process seamless, so that the consumer gets the best experience in the world. But then, of course, you will have to become more transparent, because in the world of digital transactions there is less and less space for a grey zone, and this will greatly affect the logistics industry

Digital State: New Business Models Brought by Total Digitalization
We need to address three main issues, three blocks. The first one is the technological block. It is more or less clear. We need to be online, be secure, be cloud native. These are mature decisions; they are not disputable <…> The second block is the most serious – the employment issue. These are the people who are ready for these changes and will promote them <…> The third challenge is management. How can we change business processes?

Digital State: New Business Models Brought by Total Digitalization
I am looking at these words, ‘digital state’. I would put a colon and write: ‘either digital or none’. That is how the alternative looks like today. <…> If you do not have a balanced data model, if you cannot create instant one-click services knowing everything that is needed about a person, it means that this service will be provided by someone else, and it will become not a state, but a part of something else. <…> We have no time to ponder over some parts of data that we do not have in order to provide a service

The Digital Transformation of International Trade: E-commerce and Beyond
We are now focusing on three main objectives. Objective number one is to set out reasonable rules for the presence of global players in our market. <…> Global players and global platforms working alongside national financial institutions, the national financial system, national logistics specialists, the transport system and, of course, product manufacturers. And this should, as a rule, be mutually beneficial

The Digital Transformation of International Trade: E-commerce and Beyond
We are witnessing the destruction of the traditional regulatory framework on the part of national governments, which are coming into conflict with a new model of platform power. <…> Governments do not understand – and this is the case all over the world – how to deal with the new configuration whereby a global player knows more about your citizens than you, influences their behaviour more than you, and controls them to a greater extent than you

Who Stands to Win in the Global Competition for Supremacy in Artificial Intelligence?
We intend to bring together the resources we have, under the supervision of the industrial key players, <...> those who implement mature solutions in industries and banking, those who work on development. <...> It is clear that these resources will be focused on working in six key spheres. They are mathematical methods and algorithms, software, working with data accessibility, legal framework, and regulation tools. And, of course, the key one is HR

Who Stands to Win in the Global Competition for Supremacy in Artificial Intelligence?

According to very careful estimates, during the period up to 2030, the contribution into annual GDP growth from using AI technologies might reach from 1.1% to 2% of annual increase. And this is a very balanced estimate for the Russian economy that corresponds to highly conservative global expert assessments,

Three quarters of households must be connected to broadband access as part of the implementation of the Digital Economy programme per the President’s decree. We now have the resources that need to be properly utilized for this, the funds, and, most importantly, the technical solutions and reliable partners. We have launched this work today via wireless access in four regions. This year an experiment will be held with LTE450. The first bidding will be held in 11 regions by 31 March. We are building a competitive model and purchasing connection services for 5 years on a tender basis
