Young Industrialists’ Project Centre as Import Substitution Tool in New Russian Industrialization
15 June 2022
12:15—13:45
In the current economic and geopolitical situation, an accelerated process of forming new production lines at Russian enterprises becomes a priority for industrial development. State-owned companies and corporations, which face difficulties providing components due to the aggressive sanctions policy of unfriendly countries, become key customers for industrial enterprises. How to ensure the sustainability of the "customer-investor-industry-regulator" communication chain? What role does the project centre of the interregional Young Industrialists Club play in the new industrialization of Russia? How can conditions for attracting private investment in priority import-substitution projects be ensured? What tools are used by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to form an environment for development and increase the rate of production? How can you integrate your own production into the supply chain of the largest industry customers: state companies and corporations? Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, state companies and corporations, development institutes and the interregional Young Industrialists Club will take part in the discussion. What are the possibilities for young industrialists to participate in the corporate import substitution programmes today? How to build a direct dialogue to solve urgent problems within the priority areas of the largest customers? How can private investments be attracted for the implementation of import substitution projects in the vacated market niches? How can they be drawn for the fulfilment of industrial start-ups for the priority directions of the largest customers? How to involve young industrialists in the implementation of promising plans to "grow" suppliers for the largest customers?
